Giving Thanks For Community On Giving Tuesday

PRESS RELEASE | St. John, US Virgin Islands, November 26, 2024 – Friends of Virgin Islands National Park will be paying back the support afforded it by the St. John community and beyond this Giving Tuesday. There will be a Community Plant Giveaway in the morning and all weekend, shoppers can enjoy a 25% discount in their store.

“In this time of giving, we show our appreciation for the community of supporters that make our work possible,” said Tonia Lovejoy, Executive Director of Friends of Virgin Islands National Park. “Our Community Plant Giveaway is a small thank you to all those who share our love for the beautiful trees and plants on our island.”

On Tuesday, December 3, Friends will host one of its bi-annual plant giveaways at the National Park Visitor Center Pavilion in Cruz Bay from 8am to 10am or until plants are gone. Light refreshments will be served.

Time to stock up on holiday gifts! A 25% discount will be offered to shoppers in the National Park Visitor Center or in the Friends online shop from Thanksgiving to Giving Tuesday. Online discount code is THANKYOU.
