Scholarships
Friends believes that the future of conservation on St. John resides in our youth and offers a number of scholarships to that end. Applications for 2022/23 will be accepted until July 11.

Life Guards Needed
This is an immediate part time job opportunity in the Friends Learn To Swim program. Four days a week Wednesday to Saturday. $24/hour. This position includes paid training and certification. Please contact Ki'Janne' Alfred at info@friendsvinp.org

Summer Trail Crew
The Summer Trail Crew program is for Virgin Islands high school students (ages 15-19). It is a 6 week summer job that gives students the opportunity to gain professional experience and learn about natural resource management and the Virgin Islands National Park on St. John. Now accepting applications for 2022.

Teacher Grants
Thanks to a grant from the National Park Foundation, Friends is able to offer mini-teacher grants ($500) for field trips and/or classroom materials and project-based learning supplies for park-related subjects.

Artist-In-Residence
Friends helps young Virgin Islanders explore and develop their creative talents. Photographer Kayden Richards currently holds the position.
