Our vision is to create a pipeline of environmental education experiences for youth from preschool to college, and beyond! Together with the help of supporters like you, we offer classroom sessions, swimming lessons, field trips, internships, scholarships, and employment opportunities to Virgin Island youth.

Friends of Virgin Islands National Park has offered free swim lessons to St. John youth during the summer months in the park for more than a decade!
Working with the Park and the community to rebuild the playground in front of the Visitor Center that was damaged in the 2017 hurricanes.
Friends manages a number of scholarship opportunities for youth as well as awarding grants to educators.
Friends offers summer learning opportunities for youth enrolled in summer camps including hiking, snorkeling, and more.
Summer Trail Crew
A professional summer job opportunity for Virgin Island youth interested in conservation. This six week program is open to high school students (ages 15-19).
