Friends Annual Meeting 2023 On Saturday January 28

The Friends of Virgin Islands National Park’s Annual Meeting will take place at Trunk Bay pavilions on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 11am to 2pm.

The keynote speaker this year is Mr. Robert Stanton, 15th Director of the National Park Service and former Superintendent of Virgin Islands National Park (1971-1974). To have Mr. Stanton’s esteemed and familiar attention is quite a privilege for our park.

This is a free public event.

Complimentary shuttle service to and from Cruz Bay and Coral Bay is provided for registered guests as parking at Trunk Bay is limited.

The meeting will also include remarks from Friends Executive Director, Tonia Lovejoy and Virgin Islands National Park Superintendent Nigel Fields, a swearing-in of new board members led by Chairman of the Board, Andrew Rutnik, and a question and answer session.

Please take this special opportunity to learn about your park through the eyes of Mr. Stanton and discuss its future. Following the meeting, guests are invited for a social hour enjoying traditional foods and drinks prepared by Ms. Olivia Christian and live music performed by Ms. Eva Chinnery and Mr. Mark Wallace.
