OCEAN WEEK Virtual Seminar

Description: Trash not only crams our overflowing landfills, it also pollutes the land and ocean. Much of what society considers “waste” is actually a resource. Island Green will explain how their innovative programming keeps valuable items out of the waste stream – from vegetative debris and aluminum to clothing, building materials and household items. Education on keeping toxic sunscreen chemicals and disposable plastics out of our waters will also be explored. Learn how the community can help support and expand sustainability in the territory.
