Lesser Known Fishes Of St. John Virtual Seminar

Lee Richter is a Fish Biologist for the National Park Service Inventory & Monitoring program on St. John. While he researches several underwater resources at work including coral, seagrass, and marine invertebrates, he is particularly interested in fishes–especially the small ones that are hard to find. In this presentation he discusses some of the lesser known fishes on St. John as well as where and how to find them. What these fish lack in size, they make up with personality and color. Armed with an underwater light, camera, and a good ID book, we’ll learn about some tiny but mighty fish that live beneath (and sometimes even above!) the waves. OCEAN WEEK on St. John is an opportunity to get involved, learn about the marine world, and help keep our beaches and coastline clean! REGISTER HERE TO RECEIVE ZOOM INFO.
