The simple beauty of a sea grape leaf at Trunk Bay beach glistening with drops of water is awe inspiring. As we approach Earth Day, we reflect on the profound joy that nature gifts us, and the interdependence that exists not only within the natural world but also between humanity and nature. In the face of many challenges, let us remain focused on doing what we can in our small corner of the world to protect and preserve natural and cultural resources and engage and inspire the next generation of conservationists.

Nature is the air we breathe and the oceans we swim in. This planet is our home and everyone has a role to play. Each one of us can pack it in and pack it out; leave no trace and take only photos and memories; and volunteer, campaign, or donate. Small individual actions add up.

This month we celebrate this interconnectedness with the 16th Annual Earth Day Fair which will be attended by hundreds of school students, as well as a couple of coastal cleanups, and a virtual seminar by our sea turtle team who will share their learnings from the recent international symposium in Ghana. Please join us!
