Fauna of the Caneel Subwatershed Virtual Seminar

Join the Friends during Earth Week to kick off a series of virtual seminars that will highlight incredible flora or fauna of different watersheds throughout Virgin Islands National Park. The first seminar, “Fauna of the Caneel Subwatershed ” will feature a variety of experts as they present on sea turtle nesting, blue corals, rarely seen birds, and more. Speakers: Willow Melamet – Sea Turtle Biologist: Nesting on the Beach; Laurel Brannick – Retired NPS Ranger and Bird advocate: Black Crowned Night Heron; and Jeff Miller – Fisheries Biologist: Corals that are Blue.
