A Time For Thanks
Dear Friend,
The sheer majesty of nature on land and in our extraordinary blue waters, as well as the rich heritage of St. John’s culture and history, gift us so much.
We are grateful for:
Beaches fringed with sea grapes we’ve planted with the calming sound of waves rolling up the sand;
Clear days with an ocean view as far as the eye can see and the warmth of sunlight on our faces on a well-maintained trail;
The sound of a conch being blown talking to island ancestors by a Cultural Ambassador at Annaberg;
The excitement of a ten-year old celebrating his first catch in our Learn To Fish Program;
And the satisfaction of tracking the well-being of a green sea turtle at Maho by the markings on her face.
For 37 years our Friends organization has worked to help protect natural and cultural resources, engage and educate island youth, and connect visitors and community with the Park. Our team has met critical needs on an annual basis, raising funds through member donations, events and volunteerism. This takes planning, patience, action, and an abundance of hope.
Your support makes it all possible and we are grateful that together we make a difference in this beautiful corner of the world.
Thank you from all of us at the Friends.
