Annual Meeting
Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of community-oriented leaders who represent a variety of interests in the Virgin Islands from both the public and private sectors.
The Board holds an Annual Meeting to fill any vacant positions and to update members on the state of the organization, the state of the Park, and listen to feedback from the community. This next public meeting will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026. All are invited to attend.
January 24, 2026

Keynote speaker: Deb Yandala, Former President and CEO, Conservancy For Cuyahoga Valley National Park. With 32 years of park experience, Deb will look to future and envision the national park system in 2036.
Other speakers include Penelope Del Bene Superintendent, Virgin Islands National Park and Tonia Lovejoy, Executive Director, Friends of the Park. A Question & Answer Session will follow and lunch will be served.

Keynote speaker: Ki'Janne' Alfred, Friends Young Professionals Board Member.
