Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of community-oriented leaders who represent a variety of interests in the Virgin Islands from both the public and private sectors.
A small, versatile team of full-time, part-time, and contracted staff is responsible for a range of natural and cultural resource protection and education programs including sea turtles, coral, and native plants, trails maintenance, volunteer recruitment and management, and fundraising and event management.



Annual Meeting
Friends holds an Annual Meeting that is public and open to all. The most recent meeting was Saturday, January 28 was attended by over 100 supporters. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Robert Stanton, 15th Director of the National Park Service and Superintendent of Virgin Islands National Park (1971-1974). Visit the meeting photo gallery.
